Just when you think it’s over it just keeps going. There’s been rumor that LISD schools are going half virtual all over again. Although this has not been proven to be in action currently, it might be soon.

Obviously, most people didn’t enjoy virtual learning so I decided to interview a few students here at RBMS to get their take on it.
“Yes I enjoyed virtual learning, it was very interesting and comfortable,” says Mckenzie. “No I didn’t enjoy it because it wasn’t very engaging and I got easily distracted.” Joshua described.
As you can see these are two very different points of view. One enjoyed behind the screen learning while the other not so much. I personally agree more with Joshua’s point of view in this scenario and got easily distracted as well.
“Yes I would be open to going back to virtual because I want to be safe and I can now communicate with my friends a lot easier,” Sri said.
This is a very important thing that Sri mentions because even though she didn’t enjoy virtual school she would still be open to going back so everyone is a bit safer. Doing things for the safety of others even though you don’t want to can be hard but will pay off in the end.
Out of all these students’ perspectives I saw I don’t think I can choose one to side with the most. The reason for this is I do think it is very important to be safe but, I don’t think going virtual would be super beneficial. Some of the students also mentioned this but a lot of people struggled with online school and their GPA dropped dramatically and it wouldn’t be good for that to happen twice especially right before high school.
