This Friday, May 13th there is an exciting football game coming up! It is the Powder Puff game here at RBMS. It will be from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M. at the RBMS football field. Admission is $3 for students, $5 for adults, and free for teachers. Concessions will also be available, there will be pizza, Bush’s tender rolls, candy, and drinks.

So if you haven’t been to or heard of Powder Puff you may wonder what is. Powder Puff football is a flag football game but the difference is that the roles in the game are switched. The teams are Cheerleader vs the Silver Stars, and some football players will perform in the place of the cheerleaders and Silver Stars.

The teams and football players have been preparing for the game as well.  “The girls and boys participating will be having 2 practices only before the game on Friday.”  Said Ms. Harris the dance teacher. “The Silver Stars are helping to choreograph the dances for the boys who are performing and four 7th and 8th-grade football players have volunteered to be the coaches for the Silver Stars and Cheerleaders who are playing football.” he 

So make sure to come and have fun at the game. “These students are stepping out of their comfort zone and ready to have some fun!” Siad Ms. Harris. So make sure to bring money for food and cheer for either the cheerleaders or Silver Stars.
