Turning Red is a movie out now on Disney Plus it’s new and watchers are loving it. It is a coming-of-age movie that has a happy time and shows that kids go through changes but it is always for the better. This is a story about a girl named Ming Lee that just wants to do what she wants but her whole life she has been her “mother’s obedient daughter.” 

She is like this until one day everything changes and she figures out that her family has this gift that is not so much of a gift. She finds out how to use it for herself and get what she wants. Her family can turn into red pandas and that is when everything changes. she is just being herself and her mom is not liking it. 

Even though I didn’t understand the whole plot the movie was still good. If I would rate it I would give it 7.5 out of 10. I find that the storyline is a little relatable. I feel like they made it that way to give parents a new perspective and kids to see they have to become their own person.
