Spring break is something that just about every kid looks forward to. Some kids go on vacations and some kids just relax at home. I personally am going to Alabama for a vacation with my family. I feel as though spring break is the homestretch to the end of the year, and everyone is just ready for the year to end.

Spring break in my opinion is the second best break of the year other than Christmas break. After this I know there are only around 6 weeks left, and it is very exciting. Spring break started in 1938 with a stream forum event in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It was started with students coming to the town and companies taking advantage by selling drinks for better prices. The idea was huge and became official as a time to get ready for the final bit of the year.

Another reason I think spring break is amazing, it is the time that the flowers are finally starting to bloom and the sun starts to come back a bit more. Lately, it’s been cloudy and such but the weather looks as it will get better.

Spring break is an event every student looks forward to as it is a time to relax and hang out with family and friends. If you aren’t going on vacation, at least try to spend time with your family.
