Art club activities

The RBMS Art Club was a student-led club that was the biggest at the school. It had around 75 students attending the meetings and the school raised 209 dollars. Recently the club has shut down and some people may be left confused.
The RBMS Art Club had 5 different officer roles which included, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Media Manager. Some students at RBMS are confused as to why the biggest club shut down. Many students loved the art club because they got to work on beautiful art creations. For instance, “The students made paper flowers, googly eye creations, designed with pom poms, and many collaborative drawings or projects that required students to work together.” said Ms. Rhodes, the sponsor of the art club.
Recently, Ms. Rhodes decided to close down the art club because she wanted to spend more time on her own art creations. “I love my students and people and enjoy working with them and creating masterpieces,” said Ms. Rhodes. “I recently made a creation that took me 17 YouTube videos, and I’m proud of it.”
So what can you do instead since there is no art club? “I don’t have any plans for the art club but I don’t mind if my students draw in my room or do any other art projects,” said Ms. Rhodes. The art club has brought much joy to many students, but even if it isn’t here any more you can still make wonderful artwork here or at home.
